Are you brand new to Yoga? Are you wanting to learn more about the poses? Do you want to learn how to transition between poses with more ease? 


This series of 4 classes will cover all that and more! We will learn the poses of the Journey into Power sequence and how to move from one pose to the next with ease. We will sprinkle in a little yoga history and philosophy and cover what to expect in all the different classes here at Soul Yoga.


This series is for those brand new to yoga as well as seasoned practitioners ready to go back to the basics.

Soul Yoga is offering CPR Training on Thursday, January 30th. All students who successfully complete the class will receive an American Heart Association card that is good for two years.


CPR instructor, Kate Mack is an American Heart Association and American Red Cross Instructor with 17 years experience teaching CPR , BLS and First Aid. She has taught hundreds of people CPR, BLS, AED use, and Pediatric First Aid. She is passionate about preparing individuals for life threatening cardiac and choking emergencies. Her classes are fun, informative and relaxed. When students leave her class they feel prepared to handle emergency situations in their homes and out in the community.

This is a powerful program that aims to reset and rejuvenate your whole being. Meetings will be held weekly. We will meditate, journal and share. You will be provided a workbook with inquiry questions to journal about daily and a place to record your food and feelings. You will be asked to commit to a daily meditation and yoga practice and taught the tools to make it become more than a chore, but a lifestyle.

Join Suzanne Jones, author of "There is Nothing to Fix: Becoming Whole Through Radical Self Acceptance" for this inspirational discussion, book reading and book signing event at Soul Yoga.

Sue Jones is well-known in the field of yoga and trauma and has presented numerous workshops and talks on the subject of trauma, yoga, hands-on healing, and TIMBo at Omega Institute, Kripalu, Mental and Behavioral health facilities in the greater Boston Area, multiple Massachusetts Department of Mental Health Symposiums, National Conferences and New England area yoga studios. She has been profiled on CNN, on FOX news, and in numerous publications, including Yoga Journal, the New York Times, Shape, Whole Living. Sue was interviewed most recently by author Rick Hanson as a trauma expert for his Foundations of Well-Being online course. Since beginning her journey in somatic-based healing, she has trained and delivered TIMBo to over 4,000 women globally. She writes a blog for both the The TIMBo Collective and Elephant Journal. She oversees a world-wide community of women connected via online platforms to support one another and build continued capacity to help others with TIMBo. There is Nothing to Fix is her first book.

Soul Yoga is offering a 200 hour RYT certification training  program led by Lisa Alban Ellisen (E-RYT 500 hr) alongside Tod Ceruti (RYT 500) and the greater yoga community. This program delivers detailed curriculum, personalized coaching and hands on training that causes transformation for all who participate.


Whether you want to teach or not, this program will upgrade your practice, enable you to shift your vision to see new possibilities and compel you to step up as a leader in every area of your life.

African Drum Circle with world renowned African master percussionist Onye Onyemaechi.

Onye brings the joyful soul of African culture, spirituality and music to create and teach a blend of the best of traditional societies and modern life styles to the world. He is local to Santa Rosa and the founding director of Village Rhythms and Onye Onyemaechi spiritual services.

In this facilitated drum circle, you will learn the fundamentals of African drumming and build confidence – groove, techniques, etiquette, listening and dynamics and cross-communication. African rhythms are the spiritual center of the village. Everyone gathers together to create and express their love for music and free themselves from stress.


We are offering 6 sessions to be held the following Friday evenings, 6-7pm, at Soul Yoga:
